If you ever get a chance to use hospice for a loved one, TAKE IT! I’ve been given a whole new perspective on it. It’s not JUST for the last days, it’s the best way to assist your loved one with living their best last days/weeks/months.
Also, in home rehabilitation. I’ve been using Rehab Without Walls, a San Antonio organization that comes to the house at least 3 times a week to provide Speech, Occupational, Physical therapy and a Social Worker.
It’s a game changer for real. Especially the emotional support they’ve poured into me as a caretaker, is unmatched.
