Thank you for having us and for putting together such a solid event for small businesses.

Today is wash, repack, sore back, and a quiet meal at home.
Stopped by , cooked some sirloin fajitas, flour tortillas, and salsa verde. Simple and needed.

We’re not chefs, just cooks with heart, sharing the food we grew up on and the flavors that feel like home.

Growing up on the border, mollejas were always a favorite , crispy, rich, and full of flavor. Last night I made them to remember, a warm corn tortilla with salsa pasilla, red jalapeño from our garden, limón, and a sprinkle of queso fresco. They’ll be on the menu soon as a limited item, hopefully.

We cook what we love, and we love to share it.

In my hometown, this is simply called brisket, bone-in navel, finely chopped and layered onto a warm flour tortilla, sealed with a crispy Oaxaca cheese costra. We top it with fresh guacamole and our house made salsa.

Amor Bandido is here to share the food of my childhood, the flavors of my hometown, Nuevo Laredo. The food I grew up eating on the street and around the family table.

We’re not chefs, just cooks with heart, serving food meant to bring a smile with every bite. 💛❤️
