I didn't realize I needed ’s sandwich in my life until now. 🙏🏼 Juicy buttermilk-brined fried chicky, a slather ("slather" is legit in the directions, which makes me v happy) of Kewpie, crunchy pickles, potato rolls, 🔥 hot shake, and the absolute kicker ... this one from is made with plant-based . Zero kidding when I say mind blown.

So this is how Motel Fried Chicken]] started. Making and operating full service barbecue shops during the pandemic became near impossible… so we tried everything under the sun to stay alive! I remembered an herb brined, buttermilk fried, herb finished recipe I worked on years ago after a trip to Napa(where I fell in love with recipe) and put my own little spin on it. I started a popup called Motel Fried Chicken out of all locations and we had lines around the corner, which ultimately kept the Lucky Well alive. Not to bore you but selling whole fried chickens out of (2) 35lb deep fat fryers is like opening a pizza shop with an easy bake oven…. So quickly I converted my recipe into sandwiches to maximize what I could put out per hour. 2 years later Motel Fried Chicken]] is a real thing and it’s only gettin realer… We are shipping on , the sandwiches are on the menu at all Lucky Well locations, I’m in talks to take Motel Fried Chicken]] around the country in multiple facets… We are working closely with the best protein beast out there and are finalizing plans for 2 Philadelphia locations, where the focus will still be on our simple herby sandwiches and sides, but these golden crispy pieces will be available in small batches for sure! First stop… University City… That’s my story and I’m sticking to it…
