IT'S BACK! Bad Tölz Festbier, one of our TWO Oktoberfest styles, has returned to the taproom!
Bad Tolz is a clean, crisp, full-bodied, 5.8% ABV Weisn-style Oktoberfest lagerbier with light hop bitterness and a malty finish.
The name is this b**r comes from the original 1950s location of 10th Special Forces commanded by OSS Legend Col. Aaron Bank, which was in Bad Tolz, Germany!
Make plans to come on by and grab mug or two! Prost!

Back on tap: Red Empire Imperial Red Ale! This 7% ABV brew is a deep amber colored, full bodied ale with malty, rich, and robust, with notes of caramel.
The 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) is an operational unit of the United States Army Special Forces, and was activated on 20 May 1960. Their purpose is to conduct guerrilla operations and train friendly governments’ armed forces in the South, Central, and North America as well as the Caribbean. They have participated in Operation Urgent Fury in Grenada in 1983, as well as in Operation Just Cause in Panama in 1989. Like all the SFGs, 7th Group has been heavily deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in the War on Terrorism.

Nous Defions BLACKOUT is a big, big b**r. If you haven't had it yet, you're missing out! This Belgian Quad was barrel-aged in Hooten Young barrels, and has notes of oak, dates, and vanilla.
It pairs wonderfully with the Honey Butter Brioche, layered with Nutella, strawberries, and sweet vanilla cream.

Today in U.S. Army Special Forces (SF) history: on 27 August 1942, Secretary of War Henry Lewis Stimson authorized the First Special Service Force (FSSF) to wear Crossed Arrows insignia formerly worn by Indian Scouts.
Today's Special Forces trace their official lineage, honors, and tactical roots directly to the FSSF of World War II.
The crossed arrows remain a defining element of both the Special Forces crest and Longtab’s logo. You can see other FSSF elements incorporated into Longtab's b**rs, decor, and merch, including the arrowhead and Black Devils imagery.
