Perhaps, we can get more vehicle in the Tony G’s parking lot this morning! The local chapter of BEAT AIDS are hosting an informational health awareness session at the restaurant. It is a wonderful event and important for the community wellness. If you are in the area,stop by and learn how to mitigate this disease. Information is the key to taking action. We are always grateful to host theses community action organizations.

The community dialogue on the Cesar Chavez street name change was informative and spirited. The outreach event was held at Tony G’s Soul Food and many folks expressed their preferences. Kudos to District 2 and District 1 council members, Jalen McKee-Rodriguez and Sukh Kaur,PhD for making this event happen.. Let your voice be heard on this important topic.

Kudos to Johnny “Joe” Payton and his amazing kitchen staff at Tony G’s Soul Food! This morning I saw last quarter’s score of A/94 out of a possible 100. After today inspection, we moved up to A/97 out of a possible 100! We are moving on up on the Eastside…. While the essence of perfection can’t ever reached, our team will continue to strive for it!!! Show them some love on your next visit!
