Meet Ginalyn Valenzuela, founder of The Basil Farm. After spending eight years in Thailand, she returned to the Philippines and discovered how difficult it was to find the herbs she needed to cook the Thai dishes she loved.
What started as growing herbs for personal use became a farming business built on learning, perseverance, and the courage to start something new.
From learning from Thai farmers to overcoming flooding challenges and building a business that supports workers and supplies restaurants, Ginalyn's journey reminds us that success isn't always about having everything figured out. Sometimes, it's about taking that first step and continuing to grow through every challenge.
Her story is a beautiful reminder that one small dream can grow into something that changes not only your life, but the lives of others, too. 🇵🇭
