Who are you bringing for dessert? ๐๐

๐ต๐ญ Is adobo really the Philippines' national dish?
Here's the surprising answer: the Philippines doesn't actually have an official national dish.
Adobo is certainly one of our most iconic and beloved dishes, but lechon, sinigang, and many other Filipino dishes are just as deeply connected to our culture. The National Commission for Culture and the Arts even lists adobo, lechon, and sinigang among foods commonly mistaken for official national symbols.
And maybe that's what makes Filipino cuisine special.
We're too diverse to be represented by just one dish. ๐ต๐ญโค๏ธ
If you could choose ONE Filipino dish to be our official national dish, what would it be? ๐ต๐ญ๐
