It is PIE season!!!
I always receive lots of questions this time of year about cooking and baking.
Our secret to perfectly golden pies is the egg wash. Depending on the desired finish you can use whole egg with a splash or water, egg white and water, or replace the water with milk or heavy cream. Sprinkle with coarse sugar if desired for a little crunch
