Came back up north for the Montana Pitmaster Classic! It was my 2nd KCBS Competition, from the annoying part of making your kale box to 1:35pm, the intensity is real! But there is no other place I’d wanna do it than Montana, the weather is beautiful and the views are unmatched!
Made a few adjustments from last year, still cooking on a pellet smoker, and a pit barrel.

Well well, decided to kick the spiders outta my trailer for the weekend. Cooking right off the river in Bandera was a hot fun one!

Knocking off the rust was important… especially against 67 other teams!

I know it’s been a while since we’ve done what we love to do, but I’m extremely happy to be continuing our partnership with Regi-Q BBQ! Their AP, and Cow Tipper is used on the trail and when cooking at home! Results have always spoken for the products. Thank you Vince and Joyce for including us for the upcoming 2025 year!

Took a little trip to the Mountains of Montana this weekend for my very first Kansas City Barbeque Society competition. It was definitely one for the books!

After last years rough showing at Carfest, I had the opportunity to redeem myself.
The day went as normal as possible with a bit of weird weather, but drove straight down the middle through the finish line!

Well, this weekend took me just outside of San Antonio to Seguin, Texas. It was a windy one, and with the wind came the cold. 🥶
Well, the judges this weekend were definitely hard to please unfortunately… but I was fortunate to get outta my seat one time.

What a weekend down in the 956! Made my way back down there for the Smokin' on the Rio BBQ Cook-Off, the 2nd biggest cook off in Texas with just under 200 teams to get a piece of the $50,000 prize money.
Had a good time hanging with the boys, and at the end of the cook here’s where the judges placed my food…

This weekend took us east bound to the birthplace of our Texas flag, Montgomery, Texas for IBCA’s Warpig BBQ 64 Team Winter Battle! Aside from the windy conditions, the cook went smooth! I was happy with my food and the judges somewhat agreed…

The 1st competition of 2024 is in the books! Took the drive out east to New Caney, Texas for the Hold ‘em and Hit ‘em’ Club! 89 teams battled the weather to get a chance to hear their song.
Went through the motions from Friday afternoon all the way the last turn in of the day.
