Three years in a row. 🫶🏾🇯🇲
Our 3rd year in a row to receive the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand. We are still taking it in, and we do not take a single day lightly.
Since 2018, we have kept showing up. Same values. Same heart for our community. Growing and refining our craft a little more every day, one small step at a time, while holding on to who we are. Our food carries our history, our family traditions, and the love that brought us here.
To see Jamaican food recognized this way means so much. We recently learned we are the only Jamaican restaurant in the world with three straight Bib Gourmands, and that humbles us. We hope it encourages every young cook carrying their grandmother’s recipes into a kitchen: keep learning, keep growing, and trust that your food and your story belong.
Thank you to our team for the care you put into every plate. Thank you to San Antonio for pulling up a chair since day one. And thank God, from whom every good thing comes.
We are honored to carry this recognition for Jamaican food, for Caribbean food, and for our city. 🇯🇲❤️

Recognition like this is never something we take for granted. The Jerk Shack was built from a love for Caribbean food, culture, and bringing people together, and we’re so thankful San Antonio continues to embrace what we do.

Back-to-school season is here, and we’re proud to help support our community! 🎒❤️
The Jerk Shack is now accepting school supply and backpack donations for Duece’s Barbershop 💈 ‘s Back 2 School Drive.
On August 9, they will be providing FREE haircuts for kids and distributing school supplies to help students head back to class prepared and confident.
If you’re stopping by, bring a backpack or a few school supplies to donate and while you’re here, treat yourself to one of our signature Oxtail Plates. Every donation, big or small, helps make a difference.

To get to the Jamaican restaurant in San Antonio, you can take the VIA Metropolitan Transit Bus Route 22 or 26 and get off at the Intersection of N St Mary's St & E Quincy Pl. From there, walk a few blocks west on E Quincy Pl and turn left on Broadway Street. The restaurant should be on your right.
If driving, take either Highway 281 or I-35 to downtown San Antonio and exit for Broadway Street. Look for parking along Broadway or any side streets nearby. The restaurant should be located near the intersection of E Quincy Pl and Broadway Street.
