Established in 1981, Tacos El Rey was originally a gas station turned tire shop until the owners decided to share their family recipes with the neighborhood. Managed by three different generations of the Aredondo family, this family-owned business continues to bring great tasting food to its loyal customers. Open seven days a week, Tacos El Rey is committed to providing excellent service and delicious food to all of their guests.

To reach the restaurant location on Castroville Road in San Antonio, take the public bus number 67 and get off at the stop near the intersection of Castroville Road and General McMullen Drive. Alternatively, if traveling by car, head southbound on IH-35 and exit at Culebra Road. Take a left on Culebra Road and continue straight until reaching Castroville Road. Make a right turn onto Castroville Road and look for parking options along the street or in nearby parking lots.
