Yesterday’s catering was a little different than most, because it came during a time of loss. It was for the funeral of a close family member, and while the reason for gathering was heartbreaking, something beautiful came from it — family and friends coming together, sharing memories, love, laughter, and a good meal. ❤️

This is exactly why what I’m doing with Bobby G’s means so much to me.

I’m running this catering company on my own, but the passion behind it didn’t start with me. It stems from my parents and the original Bobby G’s — from the kitchen, the recipes, the hard work, the family gatherings, and the love they put into feeding people.

My parents taught me that food is more than just something you eat. Food brings people together. Food creates memories. Food is love.

Every time I fire up the pit, prepare a meal, or serve a plate, I feel like I’m carrying a little piece of them with me. I’m incredibly proud to continue that tradition and build something of my own while keeping their legacy alive.

To everyone who has trusted me with your birthdays, celebrations, gatherings, holidays, and even the difficult moments like yesterday — thank you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you and for allowing me to share the love and passion I put into every single thing I make. It truly means more than you know.

I love my family. And honestly, because of my family is why I’m here doing what I do. ❤️

Bobby G’s isn’t just BBQ.
It’s family.

🥉🔥 A WEEKEND WAS HAD🔥🥉

What an incredible experience competing in my very first BBQ competition at Corporate Cup!

Out of 20+ competitors, Bobby G’s earned:
🥉 3rd Place Brisket
🍗 10th Place BBQ Wings

It wasn’t easy, and there were definitely challenges along the way, but I learned so much and came away even more motivated than before.

Most importantly, I hope my mom and dad are proud. Even though they’re no longer here, I know they’re still guiding me every step of the way. Without them, none of this would be possible. ❤️

This is just the beginning. Bobby G’s is ready for your catering needs and already looking forward to the next competition!

Bobby G's BBQ is making a few adjustments this weekend 🔥

With the high chance of rain and everything that goes into the fresh BBQ I serve—time, prep, and quality—it’s just too big of a risk to go all in on the full menu. Everything I make is fresh, and I take a lot of pride in that, so I’ve got to be smart about it.

BUT don’t worry… we’re still pulling up and bringing something to the table 🙌

We’re switching things up and bringing out the burgers & hot dogs 🌭🍔
The perfect meal to grab, kick back, and enjoy at the park while checking out the flag football championship games!

Public Transport:
1. Take the VIA Metropolitan Transit bus route 62 towards South Park & Ride.
2. Get off at the Nogalitos St & W Southcross Blvd bus stop.
3. Walk south on Nogalitos St for about 5 minutes until you reach your destination.

Driving/Parking:
1. If you're coming from downtown San Antonio, head south on I-35 S.
2. Take exit 152B toward Nogalitos St/Southcross Blvd.
3. Merge onto I-35 Frontage Rd and continue straight.
4. Turn right onto Nogalitos St.
5. Look for available street parking near your destination.
