Bobby G's BBQ is making a few adjustments this weekend 🔥
With the high chance of rain and everything that goes into the fresh BBQ I serve—time, prep, and quality—it’s just too big of a risk to go all in on the full menu. Everything I make is fresh, and I take a lot of pride in that, so I’ve got to be smart about it.
BUT don’t worry… we’re still pulling up and bringing something to the table 🙌
We’re switching things up and bringing out the burgers & hot dogs 🌭🍔
The perfect meal to grab, kick back, and enjoy at the park while checking out the flag football championship games!

⚠️ Bobby G’s POP-UP UPDATE ⚠️
As much as we were ready and excited to serve up your favorite BBQ this weekend… it looks like the weather might have other plans 🌧️
Due to possible rain and conditions, we may have to postpone this weekend’s pop-up. Trust me, this is the last thing I want to do—but we want to make sure we give y’all the best experience possible.
The good news? We’re not going anywhere. If we do postpone, we’ll be pushing everything to the following weekend and getting right back at it 🔥
We’re going to keep popping up and serving you every chance we get!

That’s a huge milestone for me, and I truly couldn’t have done it without every single one of you who showed up, supported, shared, and believed in what I’m building.

From the Heart of the Pit
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
This BBQ pop-up is more than just a meal-it's a step forward in a personal journey l've been walking through with hope, faith, and a whole lot of fire and smoke.
Recently, I faced an unexpected sickness that brought on some overwhelming medical expenses. While I'm not quite back to 100%, I'm working hard every single day to get there-and cooking is part of that healing. Sunday's event is a fundraiser to help me cover those medical costs, and I truly appreciate your support from the bottom of my heart.
This pop-up is also the beginning of something bigger. It's the first spark in what I hope will grow into a full BBQ and catering business-something l've dreamed of for a long time. I'm following in the footsteps of my late parents, who taught me everything I know: how to cook with love, serve with heart, work with integrity, and treat every guest like family. This passion was born in their kitchen and nurtured at every family gathering, and now I'm carrying it forward in their honor.
Cooking and serving others brings me joy-and being able to share my food with you means everything to me. I hope you taste not just the flavor, but the love, tradition, and legacy in every bite.

2. Get off at the Nogalitos St & W Southcross Blvd bus stop.

Driving/Parking:
1. If you're coming from downtown San Antonio, head south on I-35 S.
2. Take exit 152B toward Nogalitos St/Southcross Blvd.
