The building still retains its historical charm with old high-arched doorways and windows where cars would pull through for servicing, and remnants of the old Texaco sign on the wall. The building's rich and long history has been designated as a Historic Landmark.
In April 2011, Jacob Valenzuela opened Deco Pizzeria's first location on Fredericksburg Rd., and later opened a second location in the Medical Center. Both locations offer artisan-style pizzas made with fresh ingredients that are made to order. The menu is rich in tradition, flavors, and variety, including award-winning wings, calzones, and more.
