A former New Braunfels City Council member has been reported missing, city officials confirmed Friday. Juliet Watson, 59, has been missing since Tuesday, May 26, and was last seen on Lincoln Street.

Anyone with information should contact the New Braunfels Police Department at 830-221-4100.

The local alcohol industry is in real trouble, I wanted to stop in at Desert Door last week in Dripping Springs and it had closed as well.... every week more. I know restaurants are also dealing with rising cost making profitable margins difficult at best. The only real solution to saving our communities is supporting local to increase volume enough to float them through this weird time in history.

Sharing George’s post will help find him a loving home.

George is a sweet boy who was abandoned up at Canyon Lake. And luckily a very sweet lady has been keeping him and he loves being in the house and she loves him so much but her cats are not accepting him. He’s a precious boy please share him. Let’s find him a home. I’m going to share him every day until he has a home because he is a wonderful kitty. He is indoor by his preference. He has been living outdoors part of the time because of the other indoor cats not accepting him.

George is quiet, likes to stay in one room. He wants to be around cats, but they are not accepting him. He is mannerly when fed waits his turn at the litter box. He prefers a rug for scratching post. He is playful with toys, especially ones that are hanging.

He will not be advertised any longer. Efforts to locate his original owner through humane societies, vets, etc. has not been successful. We want to make sure he gets a loving home by word of mouth. He would be excellent for someone who is sedentary- will sit lovingly for a LONG time. He has been very gentle with children the children he has been playing with our five years old and eight years old.  He is probably about two years old and he is up-to-date on shots and has been fixed.
