What people say
Burger restaurants are a staple in American cuisine, and Burger Boy on Potranco Road in San Antonio is no exception. This burger joint has been serving up fresh, made-to-order burgers since the Bates family opened the original location on N. St. Mary's St. in 1947. With their long history of making burgers, they know that the secret to a great tasting burger is in the quality of the ingredients.
At Burger Boy, quality is their number one priority and they don't cut corners when it comes to their food. They use only the freshest, highest quality ingredients to create the best tasting burger possible. Their 100% fresh, never frozen, lean ground beef is delivered daily from a local market and their cheese is 100% real Kraft cheese that melts beautifully on every burger.
But it's not just about the meat and cheese at Burger Boy - their veggies are also fresh and bursting with flavor. And let's not forget about their famous golden crinkle fries made from Russet Burbank potatoes straight from Idaho! The buns are locally made and toasted to perfection, adding a layer of soft, buttery crunch to every bite.
With three locations in San Antonio, Burger Boy has become a beloved institution for locals who appreciate great tasting food at an affordable price. Whether you're in the mood for their award-winning 'Best Burger in San Antonio', or one of their other delicious options like the Working Man or Bates Special, you won't be disappointed by what this San Antonio original has to offer.
