It is my beautiful wife’s bday tomorrow 🎉🎂🥳🎁Please wish Christine a very happy birthday, she is the sweetest, most supportive, hard working, caring, and thoughtful angel sent down to earth I know.

San Antonio, it was a tremendous honor and pleasure to be able to put together such a successful plate sale benefit for the late Kenneth James and his family. We had to pleasure of raising upwards of $4k for bills and expenses for Megan (KJ’s Partner) and the family as they prepare for his memorial next month and go through all the logistics that come with such a tragic loss.

I was struck by the generosity of so many in the industry volunteering their whole days to cook, clean, prepare, emcee, perform, create, and all come together to support someone and their family they might know very well or not know at all.

Super huge shout out to Matt of GiGi’s Deli , Jake Jacob Gonzales , Colin Duke’s Dive , Kenny chifakirin , Theo T30_ Eric for letting us use the Singhs kitchen, Mony Ramon Enrique Acosta for emceeing, elnuh , Ston , The Dreams for performing, Trent Garcia for running sound, Mark Theory Coffee ™️ , Marco and Fran Mila Coffee , Diego Diego Velasco for the delicious cocktails, Mando JoMando Cruz for documenting the evening, Carabuena Tequila | Live Your Best Side™️ and Lone Star B**r

Lastly huge shout out to each and everyone of y’all who made a donation to the family, came out on your Sunday evening when things are busy and expensive in the world to support others in our community. I am reminded to continue to never take for granted the immense privilege I have of serving each and every one of y’all that support Indy and the coffee community here in SA and being apart of your lives daily, thank you!
