to the distant past with a huge shoutout to the legendary Maggie, who I’m fairly certain is too cool for social media so she’ll never see this.
The coffee community owes a great debt to the impact and influence that Maggie gave to us. Working with her often resulted in lots of “I don’t know, let’s try it!” and “ohhhhhhhh that’s weird…. But I LIKE it!” - sentiments that have stuck with me (Jason) to this day. I’ve never consumed as many “mistakes” as I did on shifts with her and I became a better barista for it.
We appreciate and love you, Maggie! Hope you are well wherever you are!

If you’ve been with us for a minute, you might remember the Coffee Cult we started called The Secret Society of the Golden Order. It was rad. You got discounts on merchandise and while bean and we even created goodie bags with exclusive goodies for members.
We put the cult to rest but we recently uncovered a stock pile of these cool Motel Key Fobs in storage and thought they might be of interest to some of yall.
$3 bucks gets ya one. They make a soothing “clickety clack” when you put em on your key ring.
