This Saturday, August 8, Silke’s Cookies is back at the market — and the pretzels have been training for this. 🥨
We’ll have fresh German breads, pretzels, topped pretzels, cookies, pastries, cakes, and enough butter and sugar to make your weekend significantly better.🥖🍪❤️
Come hungry, bring a bag, and arrive early. ⏰🚗The good stuff tends to disappear faster than we can say, “I’ll just have one.”

From my test kitchen... Sometimes the best ideas arrive at 4 am. 🤔🥖
People often see the finished loaf, but this is what happens behind the scenes at Silke's Cookies & German Bakery.
✨ It starts with a sticky dough
✨ Lovingly formed into loaves of tiny breads
✨ Freshly baked
✨ Carefully filled with delicious homemade German-style goulash.
This weekend I'm experimented with homemade artisan sourdough bread bowls... and they were made for a hearty German-style goulash. As always made with ❤️ and care.

After taking a little break last month, I’m back in the kitchen practicing pretzels again! 🥨✨
My new best friends: flour, dough, salt, and patience. 😂🥨🧂💛
It feels so good to shape, twist, bake, and get back into the pretzel groove. The kitchen smells amazing, the dough is behaving… mostly 😉… and the pretzel queen is slowly getting back to work! 👑🥨
