🤠❤️ What an unforgettable experience!
Yesterday, Specht’s Texas had the honor of representing 136 years of Texas tradition at the 2026 Texas Restaurant Awards.
We were proud to present our signature Wild Game Meat Loaf, featuring wild boar, Wagyu, elk, and bison, served over sweet corn-jalapeño cheesecake, topped with fire-roasted corn & poblano relish, Garrison Brothers peach-ancho glaze, and candied Fresno peppers—a dish inspired by the bold flavors and rich heritage that have defined Specht’s since 1890.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, sampled our dish, and shared such kind words and support. It truly meant the world to our team.
We also want to extend our sincere congratulations and appreciation to the Texas Restaurant Association for hosting such an outstanding event. From the organization and hospitality to every detail throughout the day, everything was exceptionally well planned and executed. It was truly a first-class experience, and we were honored to be part of it.
Most importantly, thank you to our incredible Specht’s family. Your passion, dedication, and teamwork continue to honor a legacy that has proudly served Texas for 136 years.
