Big news on Taco Tuesday, San Antonio!
We just landed on 's list of The 25 Best New(ish) Texas Taquerias in 2026, and we are still riding the high.
Chef Leo Davila brought his beloved Big Red and barbacoa tacos back to life right here at The St. Anthony, and taco editor José Ralat took notice. He also gave some love to our bean and cheese breakfast taco con nopales, which honestly might be the best way to start your morning downtown.
We are open daily at 300 E. Travis.

didn't just end up in San Antonio.... he came back to it. Born and raised here, he left after high school chasing something bigger, only to realize that what he was looking for had been home all along.
He enrolled at The Art Institute of San Antonio, earned his degree in Culinary Management with honors, and built his craft working alongside some of the city's best. His Mexican and Chinese heritage infuses his cooking with a rare depth: dishes that are sweet and savory, familiar and surprising all at once.
Today, as James Beard-nominated Executive Chef at Anacacho, he's cooking for the city that shaped him.
