Hi Seguin, it’s Kathy again.
It is with a heavy heart that Nikko’s Teahouse Seguin location will be permanently closed.
❗️To be clear, my business didn’t fall due to sales, health inspections or evictions. You can contact the local health department and other resources for facts.
This was a choice made on unexpected life circumstances and I am moving on to my next venture for my babies and I. Nikko’s Teahouse isn’t going away. Nikko and I are taking a break. Once we come back, we will be even stronger.
To my beloved customers,
Yalls support and loyalty has been the biggest blessing for me. I appreciate every face I’ve met and every conversation I’ve had with each person hearing about their lives through their stories. I’ve met so many amazing people and so many families that have become personal friends. Every drink and every dish was made with love and passion and I hope it showed through every sip and bite. I never knew how much difference I can make to yalls day through a simple drink. I believe that life doesn’t throw obstacles at you for no reason and that this is part of paving a new life for the kiddos and I. Thank you for your unconditional love. ❤️

Hi there!
I want to formally introduce myself. My name is Kathy and I own Nikko’s Teahouse located in downtown Seguin. I am a single mother of two amazing toddlers and a pug name Nikko. 🐶 He’s already 14! I was raised in New Braunfels, graduated a unicorn💙 and then from UTSA🧡 in business. I came from a family of restaurateurs and after many locations all over the area, I chose Seguin. (For instance, I was the little girl running around China Kitchen during the 90’s & 2000’s in NB. 😂 Our latest venture was Pho Kim Long Restaurant in San Antonio in Olmos Park until 2023). I decided to open a small bubble tea drink shop with snacks and tasty bánh mì’s (Vietnamese sandwiches) to bring roots and culture closer to my kiddos. They are of Vietnamese & Mexican descent. And to honor Nikko’s legacy after his old age. He is my first son, my best friend, my sidekick and the kiddos’ protector. (He monitors food waste and nap times). 💤
Forgive me for the last couple months of inconsistencies. Our family has been through a really tough time and my kiddos’ wellbeing is the upmost priority in my life. Their father and I have recently divorced and now I am rebuilding a new life for us three. Please be patient as I get everything back to normal. I will have help in the kitchen returning next week so we will be selling yummy food again. And don’t mind some toddlers running around time to time. 🥹 Life is hard, but oh well, nothing a little boba and a Vietnamese coffee can’t solve. 🤷🏻♀️🧋
I want to thank all my customers for their continuous support since day one. I feel very loved and missed. You guys and my kiddos are what keeps me going. I look forward to “starting over” and create more drinks and food to add to the menu. I also cater/host events. Any suggestions? Let me know!
