Hi Coffee Fam, we want to address an incident that happened today. A wheelchair bound patron came up to our drive thru as she has done on multiple occasions. After her order we asked her to go to the handicapped / outside area or come inside out of the heat while we make her order.
We recently had a car wipe out 2 vehicles in the drive thru pushing one car into the building causing significant damages. As you could imagine pedestrians in the drive thru can be quite scary with some of the large vehicles nowadays.
We always offered to open doors and take food / beverages out to this person as she typically comes to Kora Kora multiple times a week and is considered a regular. For some reason today it was an issue.
This is not an ADA issue, all ADA requirements are met. This is a pedestrian in a drive thru.
