Rosario's Mexican Restaurant Rosario's Mexican Restaurant was established in the historic King William District of San Antonio in May 1992 by Lisa Wong after rescuing it from bankruptcy court. The restaurant moved two blocks north in July 1999 to a spacious 12,000-square-foot venue to cater to growing demand. With a trademark "loud and fun atmosphere", Rosario's menu features traditional south-of-the-border dishes with an authentic contemporary twist. The restaurant received rave reviews from various national and local publications such as Southern Living, Texas Monthly, and the New York Times. Unfortunately, this restaurant is now permanently closed.

We will be uniting both north and south Rosarioโ€™s locations effective today, March 13, 2023. With the recent successful opening of our Southtown/downtown location, the uniting of management and staff under one roof makes the most sense. All North location employees will be given the opportunity to relocate to the new Southtown location. Please be sure to come see your favorite San Pedro staff at our Southtown location now. We want to thank all our faithful guests that have supported our north side location over the last nine years. We look forward to serving you at our new forever home in Southtown. โœจ
