- Rosario's Mexican Restaurant
Rosario's Mexican Restaurant was established in the historic King William District of San Antonio in May 1992 by Lisa Wong after rescuing it from bankruptcy court. The restaurant moved two blocks north in July 1999 to a spacious 12,000-square-foot venue to cater to growing demand. With a trademark "loud and fun atmosphere", Rosario's menu features traditional south-of-the-border dishes with an authentic contemporary twist. The restaurant received rave reviews from various national and local publications such as Southern Living, Texas Monthly, and the New York Times. Unfortunately, this restaurant is now permanently closed.
