Geez! It’s almost that time again….. One more trip around the sun for this little coffee trailer that could! We think you folks should set the date on your calendar to roll through the flavor corner. We’re gonna sling 11 dollar shirts, 11 dollar bags of beans, sticker handouts, Mom’s WF carrot cake, and music! Shout out for bringing this idea to life with this amazing drawing! The official start day for Theory was February 2nd 2015, which is Groundhog Day. So fitting, because that alarm clock would ring every morning at 3:15, so I could get ready to haul the trailer to and from each day to serve y’all! We are super fortunate to have such a great community behind us, and we are forever grateful. We’re gonna get the party started a day early, Sunday February 1st. Be there, or be square! Story time!!!

Today was a crazy huge day for me personally and for the Flavor Corner. We’re fast approaching 11 years as a business in a little less than a month…. Groundhogs day to be exact 😎. On day one when we served our first cup of coffee at the corner, I told myself to be steady/consistent, and let everything happen for a reason, organically, with intent, with heart and passion. Over the years we have seen so many faces show up to support our belief system, validating our efforts each second of the day.

It’s given us and myself so much joy to see our little trailer pave the way for so much opportunity at the corner. From getting approved to set up shop permanently, to adding more space for other businesses to carve out their slot in the community.

Each idea has been met with many hurdles and challenges of their own. Looking back, I don’t think our story has any missing chapters, which is a very difficult thing to say and experience running a small business.

Today we received fresh new tarmac.! As simple as it may seem, this is probably one of the biggest asks and at the very top of my wishlist since the very beginning. Once the majority of the work had been completed, this was the last step in setting the table for you all. I never felt like we had reached the finish line until the lot had been resurfaced. If you know me personally, you know I can’t sit still. Which means I still have some tricks up my sleeve 😉

Pinch me, and wake me up from this dream. And if you don’t, I’d be okay with living this dream each day until the end.

To get to the coffee shop located on Nacogdoches Road in San Antonio, there are a few options for transportation.

Public Transport:
1. Take Bus Route 14 towards North Star Transit Center from any bus stop.
2. Get off at the intersection of Nacogdoches Road and Forest Frost Street.
3. Walk south on Nacogdoches Road for about 5 minutes until you reach the target destination.

Driving/Parking:
1. From downtown San Antonio, take I-35 North.
2. Take exit 165A toward Nacogdoches Rd/Binz-Englmen Rd.
3. Merge onto Frontage Rd, then turn right onto Nacogdoches Road.
4. The coffee shop will be on your right-hand side.
5. There is a small parking lot in front of the building as well as street parking available nearby.
